Earnest RusselI have written for Pro Se Productions, Beyond the Threshold Studios and Violet Windows. Some of my favorite things, (besides coffee), are Science Fiction, Horror, Steampunk, Fantasy, and History.  Vincent Price, Jules Verne and H.P. Lovecraft. When I’m not writing, I have plenty of hobbies to keep me busy. These are a pretty eclectic set of hobby skills ranging from electronics to leather working. Of course with all that, you can probably guess I am an avid table-top and board games player. Still try to get in some RPG’s (preferably GURPS, D&D or Call of Cthulhu) whenever possible.

My first published piece was “Birds of A Feather” in Monster Mayhem: An Anthology of Monstrous Proportions a product of Beyond the Threshold Studios.

Then I was introduced to Pro Se Productions. The first piece published with them is in memory of an author I had only recently met and enjoyed, Logan Masterson. “Daily Options”, is found in When the Shadow Sees the Sun: Creatives Surviving Depression.

Over the last year several of my pieces have appeared in volumes of the literary journal Violet Windows. Great journal edited and produced by a friend and author/entrepreneur Kimberly B. Richardson.

I have several short stories, including my first novel, coming out with Pro Se Productions scheduled for 2018. My next short story with Beyond the Threshold Studios will be in Once upon a Mystery due out sometime in the first quarter of 2018.

In copious amounts of spare time I manage the newsfeed for The Week in Geek. A radio show dedicated to all things geek.
